Roshni Patel advises clients on privacy and data security matters. She helps companies maintain compliance with federal, state, and international laws and regulations, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Roshni counsels companies on industry standards, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), and evolving Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau standards related to privacy and data security.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Roshni was a privacy and data security associate at a large national firm. She also served as a privacy fellow for the Wikimedia Foundation.
