This year NRF PROTECT will offer sessions tailored to specific roles, knowledge and responsibilities, including some focused on collaborating and working with cross-functional partners to implement proven strategies and initiatives.
Special programs will also be available, including the Executive Afternoon, an invite-only session for LP/AP functional leaders and their guest to continue the professional development and evolution of the LP leader.

These sessions will equip you with the tools to defend your organization against ongoing cyber threats and react to an ever-changing cyber landscape. Topics to be explored include enhancing cybersecurity measures, improving cyber literacy, implementing stronger legislation and developing advanced threat detection technologies.
In addition to these conference sessions, the Cybersecurity and Digital Fraud Tabletop Incident Response Exercise is a half-day program for senior-level retail industry attendees, built around a scenario where a national company detects and responds to an incident that requires the engagement of the company’s cybersecurity and fraud prevention teams, as well as other enterprise business partners.
Digital Fraud
Mitigating fraud is critical to improving the corporate bottom line and delivering superior customer service. These sessions will discuss credit card fraud, phishing scams, chargebacks and account takeovers — all of which can result in financial losses, operational disruptions and reputational harm.
Enterprise Security Risk Management
With a multitude of threats on the horizon, enterprise security risk management has emerged as mission-critical. Identifying and dealing with potential physical, digital and cyber risks involves cross-functional alignment, and 24/7 monitoring and mitigation of multiple indicators. Companies are developing strategies with an eye toward informed decisions and enhanced resilience. Content will examine several types of risks including security, operational, financial, strategic and reputational.
