As a Director of Global Supply Chain Asset Protection at Gap Inc., Zak leads and develops talented teams responsible for protecting people, assets and brands in highly automated distribution campuses that serve customers in the online and retail channels. He has held multiple leadership roles and worked with teams all over the globe during his nearly 25 year tenure with Gap Inc.

Zak’s other experiences include asset protection and corporate security roles with Target and Procter & Gamble. Zak also served in the Military Police Corps with the US Army Reserves.

Originally from Ohio, Zak holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Northern Kentucky University. After moving to New York, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Marist College. He is a Certified Protection Profession (CPP) with ASIS International and a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) with IAI. He is an editor with the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Procurement.

Zak resides in the Hudson Valley region of New York with his wife and three children.
