Tom is currently the Director, Asset Protection Safety – WEST where he oversees Asset Protection & Safety operations in the Western, Northwest, Hawaii and Western Pacific Districts. Tom has over 30 years total experience in retail asset protection and safety, profit protection, and E-Commerce/Fulfillment/Omni Channel. His experience has included positions as an Asset Protection & Safety Manager for Navy Exchange's located in Japan (Yokosuka), Virginia (Oceana, Little Creek), at NEXCOM Headquarters as the Corporate Manager, Loss Prevention (Investigations and Systems) leading key initiatives for global programs. Tom has worked as Vice President and President/CEO of a commercial industry investigative services company, security operations services, and retail. Tom is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and has been a certified Instructor for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Tom has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Franklin Pierce University, NH, and is a graduate of the NEXCOM's Executive Skills Development (ESD) program. Additionally, he has represented NEXCOM at national conferences (Merchant Risk Council and ASPECT / APIS Interact Group) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding fraud and investigations (virtual and in person).
