Retail and other consumer companies face a broad and ongoing set of direct cyber threats. Including new cyberfraud tactics by Russian cybercrime groups, digital skimming, account takeover operations, and point-of-sale malware. They are also increasingly vulnerable to general cyber threats (ransomware, business email compromise) and third-party incidents and breaches. This expert panel will highlight the global retail threat landscape and provide guidance on future threats  that retailers need to prepare for.

Despite the continued convergence of enterprise IT networks and OT networks, keeping OT secure requires a different playbook and a different set of assumptions about risk. This practitioner-led session will discuss how to think about information security risks to OT in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and stores.

When a cyber incident occurs it’s imperative that companies engage effectively with law enforcement.  Cyber investigations ripple across an enterprise with legal, business, and reputational implications. Erin Joe, former senior executive over cyber operations at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will provide a crash course on the importance of partnering with law enforcement on everything from ensuring a proper investigation to preserving evidence and assisting executives in dealing with regulators.
