All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Requests received by June 2, 2025, will receive a full refund. No refunds for requests received after June 2, 2025, regardless of when the registration is received. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
For any on-site emergency assistance, please call 817-778-2480 to reach the Gaylord Texan security dispatch team. EMT's will be dispatched to wherever your emergency is happening within the building.
Drones are not allowed to be flown inside the Gaylord Texan or at NRF PROTECT.
You must be 18+ years old to attend NRF PROTECT. There are no child care services available for attendees.
There is no PA system available inside the Gaylord Texan. Arrange a time and a place to meet beforehand, or use your cellular device.
The safety and security of our attendees, including exhibitors, vendors, and staff, is our priority. We work closely with the venue, security, state, local, and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them, and develop security plans.
Everyone attending NRF PROTECT should be aware that the following are in place:
Everyone must wear their NRF PROTECT badge at all times. This includes attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, volunteers, and speakers.
CCTV is in operation at our events and is both monitored and recorded.
Uniformed and covert Security Guards and Police are in attendance at our event.
Canine Security and Detection is in operation at our event.
Everyone attending NRF PROTECT is requested to:
Keep personal property with you at all times and don't leave any items unattended
Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or out of place to NRF PROTECT Staff or Security
Remain patient and courteous with NRF PROTECT Staff and Security undertaking security checks
Follow the instructions of NRF PROTECT Staff at all times
Carry a recognized form of photo ID at all times
If you feel that you are being harassed or feel otherwise unsafe, call 817-778-2480 to reach the Gaylord Texan security team.
If a person engages in harassing behavior, NRF PROTECT Staff or Security will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from NRF PROTECT with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the event including attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, volunteers, speakers, and security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment Policy.

NRF PROTECT is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations and other contractors from photographing or video or audio taping some conference activities. By participating in this event, each attendee understands that the National Retail Federation (“NRF”) reserves the right to use images, audio or video-recordings taken at the conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials in any media on a complementary basis.
