Andrea Guthrie is a seasoned retail leader with over 35 years of experience in Loss Prevention, including 27 years at DICK’S Sporting Goods. In her current role as Senior Manager of Loss Prevention Operations, she leads strategic initiatives focused on LP Programs, Store Environment, LP Services, and Supplier Compliance. Her work spans merchandise protection, LP training and awareness, new store and system design, and managing key solution provider partnerships—all aimed at improving both Athlete and Teammate experiences.
Andrea's career at DICK’S has included leadership roles across Investigations, Operational Compliance, Field LP, and LP Operations, reflecting her deep expertise and commitment to evolving the loss prevention function in a rapidly changing retail landscape.
Prior to joining DICK’S, Andrea spent over a decade with May Company Department Stores in a range of roles across Loss Prevention and Customer Service. She holds a Loss Prevention Certification and remains actively involved in the industry through organizations and LPRC working groups.
