National Director of Safety, Security and Loss Prevention
Van joined Domino’s in 1996. He currently leads a team of 16 distinguished men and women handling Brand Protection, Injury Response, Criminal Investigation and Physical Security. Van has over 34 years of loss prevention, security, safety and auditing experience. He is a current board member of the Restaurant Loss Prevention Security Association serving on the Safety Committee and Franchise Committee. Van serves on the National Retail Federation’s Security and Loss Prevention Advisory Board and is a member of the Legislative Committee. Van holds a Master’s in Management and Organizational Behavior and an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the FBI’s Domestic Security Executive Academy and is a member of the FBI’s Domestic Security Alliance Council. He is an ALICE Certified Instructor on Active Shooter. Van provides guidance to franchisees, team members and industry peers in areas of crisis management, employee safety, store security and exception base reporting.
