Tim Lapinski

Tim Lapinski is a senior retail executive with expertise in enterprise risk management, loss prevention, and operational integrity. As Divisional Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at Helzberg, he oversees enterprise‑wide risk strategy, loss prevention, fraud, and payments risk. His leadership ensures asset protection, brand integrity, and operational excellence across a national retail and distribution network.

Tim’s career includes leading loss prevention operations across the Western United States and Asia for Abercrombie & Fitch, following earlier regional leadership roles with CVS/Pharmacy, Hollywood Video, and Kohl’s Department Stores. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville and maintains both LPC and CFI Legacy certifications.

He is an active contributor to the advancement of the retail industry through his work with the National Retail Federation, where he focuses on strengthening partnerships with law enforcement and mall security organizations. Tim is also the founding member and former Chairperson of the Midwest Chapter of the International Association of Interviewers. In his local community, he serves on the Executive Board of Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City, supporting programs that deliver financial literacy, work‑readiness, and entrepreneurship education to students across the region.
