Stephanie “Snow” Carruthers is a member of the IBM X-Force team, performing two roles as Chief People Hacker and Global Head of Cyber Range. Snow applies her expertise in the digital dark arts to help clients detect and close security gaps. She has distinguished herself in the information security field by winning the Social Engineering Capture the Flag at DEF CON, which granted her a coveted black badge. Snow is actively involved in the industry, co-founding the Social Engineering Community at DEF CON, judging the Collegiate Social Engineering Competition, and organizing the physical security village at SAINTCON. In her free time, she indulges in trips to Disneyland and romantic strolls in other people’s data centers.
