Scott Ziter is the Vice President of Risk Management, responsible for Asset Protection, Safety, Food Safety and Internal Audit for The Golub Corporation/Price Chopper Supermarkets. He began his career in the loss prevention/asset protection field back in 1991 as a store detective for Stop & Shop in Massachusetts. During his 23-year career at The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and its parent company, Ahold USA, Scott held numerous positions with increasing responsibility to include Loss Prevention Field Manager, Division Loss Prevention Manager, Director of Asset Protection and Senior Director of Asset Protection. He was promoted to Vice President of Asset Protection for Ahold USA in 2012. Scott joined The Golub Corporation in 2014 as Director of Asset Protection. Scott is the Chairman of Food Marketing Institute’s (FMI) Asset Protection Council and a member of the Board of Advisors and Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC). Scott is also a member of the Albany Chapter of ASIS International. Scott earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice and B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State University in 1994. He resides in Ballston Lake, New York with his wife, Stephanie and children, Sophie and Sam.
