Peg has 30 years of environmental management experience in consulting and industry specializing in environmental compliance auditing programs, environmental due diligence, and soil and groundwater investigations.

In her current role, she oversees environmental compliance at 38 manufacturing plants, 36 distribution centers, 2,800 retail stores and pharmacies, 2,000 fuel centers, and 12 specialty and mail order pharmacies. She also leads the Kroger enterprise environmental due diligence efforts for acquisition and divestiture and participates in various industry regulatory working groups advocating for reform of state and federal regulations of retail and pharmaceutical hazardous waste.

Peg’s previous roles include corporate environmental affairs director for ProCare Automotive Service Centers, where she was responsible for environmental compliance and remediation at more than 100 auto repair facilities nationwide; as well as environmental manager with BP Oil Company, where she led a group responsible for investigation and remediation at nearly 1,000 service stations, truck stops, and bulk terminals. Earlier in her career, she worked for the American Petroleum Institute, where she authored numerous technical publications on storage tank management, soil/groundwater remediation, and petroleum marketing terminal wastewater. Peg’s background also includes 10 years of environmental consulting.
