Nicole Accardi is a high-impact executive and industry strategist that specializes in building and leading world-class asset protection and enterprise risk programs for multibillion-dollar global retail portfolios. Known for a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style, she excels at transforming loss prevention from a cost center into a strategic partner that directly bolsters organizational profitability and margin protection.
Most recently, as Vice President of Global Loss Prevention for J. Crew Group, Nicole oversaw asset protection, workplace safety, and crisis management for a $2B portfolio encompassing 650+ stores, distribution centers, and corporate operations. A foundational leader within the organization, she was hand-selected to architect the company’s first-ever Global Loss Prevention department. Under her stewardship, she established a best-in-class shrink profile, a significant accomplishment given the scale and complexity of the multi-brand environment.

She is a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and board members, providing critical governance on operational risk and enterprise-wide security infrastructure. Beyond her corporate achievements, she is a prominent voice in the retail community, serving on the National Retail Federation (NRF) Loss Prevention Advisory Council and the Executive Committee.
Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Deviance and an Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. As a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), she blends technical investigative rigor with a passion for talent development, having mentored a generation of loss prevention professionals who now hold leadership roles across the industry.
