Michelle’s current responsibilities include developing fraud prevention programs, innovative approaches, and solutions to disrupt emerging fraud and security vulnerabilities affecting Visa clients and the payments ecosystem. Michelle collaborates with Visa partners including issuers, issuer processors and acquirers to prevent, identify, investigate, and disrupt threats targeting the global payment ecosystem.
Prior to her current role, Michelle spent more than 15 years in various fraud strategy and operational capacities at one of the largest financial organizations in the United States, becoming a subject matter expert in the payment card environment. Throughout her career, Michelle has been directly involved in first line combating fraud from her time as a call center agent to leading implementation of innovative account take over fraud prevention solutions and processing capabilities.
