Kevin McMenimen, LPC, CFI, CHTI

Kevin is President of Learn it Media, a creative communication and education company that helps organizations inform, engage, and inspire their teams through digital, print, and mobile campaigns.  With more than 35 years of experience spanning learning design, investigations, workplace safety, technology, and media, Kevin has built a career at the intersection of education, innovation, and communication.

A hands-on and innovative leader, he has personally authored and produced over 150 eLearning courses and certifications for national retailers, global organizations, and law enforcement agencies. An accomplished system architect and designer, Kevin developed the award-winning APIS case management platform, the patented Learn it Solutions training technologies, and several collaborative, industry-wide data sharing systems and initiatives supporting investigations and workplace safety around the globe. He has also led innovation in analytics, biometrics, and video intelligence to enhance investigative and identity verification technologies.

Kevin is the co-founder of the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) and original architect of its LPQualified (LPQ) and LPCertified (LPC) programs, and today is continuing to lead curriculum innovation and new content as an active Board and Executive Committee member.  

Kevin is the co-host of the monthly LP Magazine education webinars and is co-founder of the LPM 'ORCAS in Action' initiative. In 2019, Kevin founded the LP Hall Awards and LP Hall of Honor, celebrating achievement and leadership across loss prevention, safety, and law enforcement. Kevin began his career with the FBI in Washington, D.C., later holding executive, investigation, and investigative systems roles with Jordan Marsh, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Tiffany & Co., before starting and leading several well-known brands including Enabl-u Technologies. 

Kevin has his LPC, CFI, and CHTI certifications and is currently based in Europe during a US government assignment.
