Jason is recently retired following nearly 32 years in California law enforcement, during which time he worked for a municipal police department and the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Jason's career was largely focused on criminal investigations in multiple ranks, including full time assigments to task force operations focused on street gangs, vehicle theft, criminal intelligence/outlaw motorcycle gangs, and narcotics/weapons violations. Jason also has held assignments in canine enforcement and tactical operations. In his most recent role, Jason served as the captain (commander) of the CHP's Field Support Section, where he was the stetewide coordinator of the Organized Retail Crime Task Force program since its inception in 2019.
