Gina Chapa


Vice President of Guest Experience
American Airlines Center
Gina is the Vice President of Guest Experience at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, home of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, NHL Dallas Stars and numerous concerts/family shows. Through ongoing and new guest experience initiatives, Gina and her team promote a culture of excellent customer service to both internal customers and guests of the Center.

Responsible for the security operations and guest experience for over 250 events per year, Gina leads a team of more than 600 staff members. She provides direction and overall management of the Guest Services, Event Security and 24/7 Security departments. In addition, Gina manages the relationships with the building’s public safety partners: Dallas Police Department, FBI, EMTs, Fire Marshals and other related institutions.

Gina joined American Airlines Center as a Coordinator in 2003 and has held roles of increasing responsibility over the past 15 years. She was recently promoted to VP in January of 2018.

Gina has a BA degree from Angelo State University and MFA from CUNY Brooklyn College.
