Carl Bryant is the Managing Director of Cyber Risk Management for Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks. Carl joins Palo Alto Networks from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he was the Senior Practice Leader for Security, Risk, and Compliance for AWS Professional Services. Carl has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and advisory services. Carl graduated from the University of Dallas in 2013 with an MBA in Cybersecurity, and graduated with a Master of Science in Data Science from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in December 2016. Carl is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Prior to AWS Carl was the Senior Director of Information Security & Risk Management for Thomson Reuters, Inc. Thomson Reuters provides cloud-based accounting software, financial trading, and legal solutions to large accounting firms, banks, and multinational corporations. Carl was responsible for the cybersecurity of the Tax & Accounting and the Global Growth & Operations business units of Thomson Reuters.
