Brennan Leininger

Sergeant | Program Director
Anaheim Police Department | Honoring Our Fallen Inc.
Brennan Leininger began his career with the Anaheim Police Department in 2002 and is currently assigned as a Sergeant in the Internal Affairs Bureau. Prior to his career in Law Enforcement, Brennan served nearly eight years as a Security Forces Specialist in the United States Air Force. He spent the last three years of his military service working at the Pentagon where he was responsible for the security of both personnel and Top Secret information. Additionally, Brennan provided personal security to the Secretary of the Air Force and Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force.

In 2012, Brennan began working with the non-profit organization, Honoring Our Fallen, where he created the “A Flag for Every Hero” program. Brennan serves as the Program Director for this event and organizes more than 2,000 community members gathering each year to place over 200,000 flags on gravesites at Riverside National Cemetery for the Memorial Day and Veterans Day weekends.

Growing up inspired by stories of his grandfather’s military service during World War II and Korea, in addition to his own military service, Brennan has dedicated himself to creating a community driven event for all to honor and grieve the military members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our great country.
