Global Cyber Alliance
Aimée is the Global Communications Officer for the Global Cyber Alliance. She also serves as a Senior Research Fellow for the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) and advises on their public education initiatives. Prior to GCA she was President of ALK Strategies, a communication and public affairs consulting practice focused on start-ups and non-profits. Aimée was formerly with the National Cyber Security Alliance. As the Partnership Engagement & Strategic Initiatives Director for the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) Aimee established strategies and programs to engage and broaden NCSA’s stakeholder base and expand its audiences. She was also responsible for identifying and seeking out new funding sources and establishing new partnerships to achieve organizational goals.

While at NCSA Aimée led the development of the STOP. THINK. CONNECT campaign (an international public service campaign to educate the public about cybersecurity and internet safety). She was also instrumental in developing the San Diego Securing Our eCity Model City project, an initiative to engage an entire community around cybersecurity awareness, education and preparedness. This project was recognized by DHS and the White House as the best local/community plan to address cybersecurity in the DHS cybersecurity challenge.

Prior to NCSA Aimée worked with non-profits and businesses in Washington State and Hawaii. While in Hawaii, several of the projects she worked on won awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Aimée was a 2012 Executive Women’s Forum Women of Influence Award recipient. She currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the APWG.eu. Aimée has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Washington State University.
