Developing effective cyber governance in retail

New policy, regulatory and technology developments, including the SEC’s recent cybersecurity rule for public companies, increase the imperative for retail leaders to have effective governance of cybersecurity activities within their companies, with the need for full alignment between information security teams, other business leaders, and boards of directors. In this session, Matt Gorham, who leads the Cyber & Privacy Innovation Institute at PwC and is a former Assistant Director of the FBI Cyber Division, will discuss how cybersecurity leaders and other executives can address these governance challenges, engage effectively with external partners (including their third-party service providers and law enforcement), and anticipate future shifts in cyber governance requirements, in conversation with Mark Tomallo, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Victoria’s Secret.
