University of Florida
Dr. Hollinger is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida. He is the former Director of the Security Research Project that focused exclusively on retail loss prevention and security issues including the National Retail Security Survey, which the retail industry uses to benchmark national shrinkage. His major focus has been on white collar crime, but as organized retail crime is now affecting the industry, he has added this component to the survey over the past few years. In July of 2007 Dr. Hollinger was honored by election into the prestigious “Ring of Excellence” by the National Retail Federation, recognizing his lifetime of research on workplace dishonesty and retail crime.
