Mike Marquis is currently an AVP of Loss Prevention with The TJX Companies, a $40 Billion dollar retailer represented by US brands like Marshalls, Homegoods and TJ Maxx, along with Winners, Homesense, Trade Secrets and TK Maxx internationally. He is part of a team of over 1,500 LP professionals battling millions of dollars in shrink across the globe annually.

Prior to joining TJX, Mike has held leadership positions with Limited Brands, where he was responsible for Victoria’s Secret and The Limited Stores divisions. He also served as Director of Inventory Management for Urban Outfitters, creating their first Loss Prevention program.

Mike is also an industry advocate having co-chaired the first eCommerce Fraud subcommittee for the US Postal Service and as a former member of ASIS International’s Retail Security Council, where he served as the US Government liaison. Mike sat on the Exam Development Committee for the Certified Forensic Interviewer program and currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Center for Interviewer Standards and Assessment (CISA.) Mike is a frequent contributor to LP Magazine having authored over 40 opinion columns. He has been a speaker at various conferences in North America and Europe.
